here in the Green Mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Ottauquechee River, and Quality Inn At Quechee Gorge is a great place to get some rest. Here at Mitchell Pond you'll probably
meet some folks from Lebanon; after a long day outdoors Super 8 White River Junction is a good spot to spend a night or two. Do pop by C C C Pond near Mitchell Pond, it's a picturesque lake, and Suicide Six is a very popular ski area
around here. Just can't get enough of the Green Mountains. Going for a hike along the Slot Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; naturally Tigertown Brook flows through this neighborhood. This lake
is so wonderful. Head up to Twin Farms and strap some skis to your feet, and do take a hike on the Mount Peg Foot and Bridal Trails. From a rainfall point of view Mitchell Pond is a quite normal site; August is the wettest month with
most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Mitchell Pond. Have a great hiking adventure along the Hang Glider Trail, and why not camp at Pine Valley Resort Campground since you're here at Mitchell Pond.
