If you are traveling by, why not stop by Mirror Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. Summertime brings highs in the 60's to Mirror Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. During the wintertime highs are frequently in the 10's, and overnight lows at Mirror Lake throughout the winter usually drop into the 0's. That right there is lots already, but it keeps on going; Mirror Lake has it all.

| | time in the Green Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. You can take a little visit to Mirror Lake Dam if you're here at Mirror Lake; if you need a spot to stay Camp Mead Motor Court is a glorious choice. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Green Mountains. You can observe Foster Hill from Mirror Lake, and scenic scenery and great skiing is what you acquire at Stowe. going for a hike along the Kettle Pond Trail, and if you've had enough of Mirror Lake, Blue Pond is nearby.
And that's not all you can do here at Mirror Lake. After a long day outdoors Village Motel is a nice spot to spend a night
or two; you can run the rapids of Minister Brook. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a good close by course is Woodbury Golf Course, and the Silver Ledge Trail offers hiking at its best. Mirror Lake is a site with
many visitors from Barre. There's so much to do here at Mirror Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Onion River Campground is a perfect spot for that.
Carr Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to,
and there's whitewater on Winooski River for all you adrenaline kick people. Mirror Lake regularly gets much rain; during August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. Stay the night at Spooners Trailer Park and Campground; there's delightful hiking along the Owls Head Trail.
