The beauty of Minards Pond is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Minards Pond is right by the Hang Glider Trail, and lakes are such serene locations, why not have a look at Middle Pond. The vista of Colley Hill from Minards Pond is delightful, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Living Memorial Park is quite near. This lake is so wonderful. A great forest near Minards Pond is Bellows Falls Village Forest, and Connecticut River Reservoir is

| | a brilliant lake nearby. Be careful coming to Minards Pond, you might not ever want to return back home again. Bundy Brook is a stream that you may bump into while here, and Saxton's River has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Minards Pond; Futures Trail is a magnificent local trail. There's so much to do here at Minards Pond that you need to camp here for a while, The Farm Campground is a nice spot for that. | |

If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Minards Pond. A day on the slopes of Ascutney is just what you need, and no need to travel far to go to interesting stuff like The Stairs. Minards Pond gets a
lot of water; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months is February. Bellows Falls Dam is a lovely place close to Minards Pond, and Holiday Inn Express Springfield, Vt is a nice site to get some rest.
If you need a place to stay Everyday Inn is a delightful choice, and people from Keene love to come here. An afternoon playing golf at Hooper Golf Club is always a pleasure, and Minards Pond is great enough to spend more than
a day at, Tree Farm Campground is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Throughout the summer months at Minards Pond highs are mostly in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down
into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while Minards Pond night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 0's. The Slot Trail offers hiking at its best, and paddling on Cold River is so much fun.
