Why not explore Bellows Falls Dam if you're here, and great hiking is available along the Slot Trail. You have to positively visit The Stairs if you're here at Minards Pond; Holiday Inn Express SPRINGFIELD is a brilliant spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.       Get drenched paddling on Saxton's River; close to Minards Pond you come across a golf course called Hooper Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Minards Pond, you'll hit upon Middle Pond which is a gorgeous lake, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Living Memorial Park. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Connecticut River Reservoir, and it's a perfect                  idea to have a look at Bundy Brook. Through the warm months at Minards Pond temperatures are mostly in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while Minards Pond night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Minards Pond. If you need a place to stay Everyday Inn is a delightful choice; good skiing awaits you at Ascutney. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cold River, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Keene here. Take some time to stop at Bellows Falls Village Forest since you're here; Colley Hill is charming and can be seen from here. Minards Pond is a wet place that gets a great deal of precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Any time is a good time at Minards Pond if you have a thing about the outdoors. Go for a hike on the Futures Trail.
