Do take a look at Lake Runnemede close to Mill Pond, it's a delightful lake, and you can go for a hike on the Slot Trail. You might want to pay a visit to The Narrows since you're here at Mill Pond, and Holiday Inn Club Vacations AT ASCUTNEY MOUNTAIN RESORT is a magnificent location to get some rest. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. Take a side spree to Blow-me-down Brook, and there are good places to look at along the Futures Trail.

| | At Mill Pond all through the summertime months highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Mill Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Ottauquechee River. Lots of people from Lebanon come to Mill Pond, and Mill Pond is a fine spot to visit for more than one day, Mount Ascutney State Park Campground is a fine spot to camp | |

nearby. That right there is lots already, but it keeps on going; Mill Pond has it all. An afternoon playing golf at John P Larkin Country Club is always a diversion; Windsor Upper Dam has great water scenery. Mill Pond is a good
place of typical rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. The trees of Windsor Municipal Forest are a pleasant source of shade on hot summer
days, and you can stay the night at Running Bear Camping Area. A delightful lake like Lake Runnenede near Mill Pond is a perfect place to explore, and after a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Claremont is a pleasant spot to spend a night
or two. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Hang Glider Trail, and the snow is fine at Suicide Six. Get soaked paddling on Connecticut River, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Ascutney.
