    What a nice lake Mill Pond is. Mount Snow is a magnificent local ski area, and a great close by hotel is Mt Snow Grand Summit Resort. Mill Pond ordinarily gets a large amount of rain; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. During the summertime at Mill Pond highs are usually in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are frequently  
   in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Mill Pond.
What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Going for a hike along the Molly Stark Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff close to Mill Pond. Arcady At The Sunderland Lodge is a great location to get some rest, and the skiing at Haystack is delightful. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little tour to Adams Reservoir Dam while
 
               you're here at Mill Pond; some of the water close by flows, like Little Pond Brook.
While you're here at Mill Pond you can take a hike along the Kelly Camp Trail; there's whitewater on Deerfield River - East Branch for all you adrenaline junkies. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent site to camp here at Mill Pond is Holysmoke Camps, and Adams Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Camping at Red Mill Brook Campground is always a great experience, and get your heart beating on the pleasant whitewater of Deerfield River.
On a perfect day at Mill Pond you can take a hike along the Atwood Trail, and swamps don’t sound that good but Castle Meadow in the neighborhood of Mill Pond is reasonably good. Here at Mill Pond you'll possibly meet some folks from Bennington, and a lake close by is Lost Pond.
