Many people like to go to Mile Pond. Mile Pond gets a typical amount of annual rain; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here; February is when it's the driest. Go for a hike on the Main Trail, and you can stay the night at Big Rock Campground and Store. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Lyndon Outing Club, needless to say you could also stop by Nulhegan Pond if you're here;

brilliant spot to spend a night or two. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Burke Mountain is a very popular ski area close by, and there are some great whitewater spots on Moose River. And if that's not sufficient there's
a load more exciting things to do in the Green Mountains. Going for a hike on the Loggers Loop Trail is always a wonderful adventure; if you come at the right time of year, Nulhegan River offers some delightful whitewater. For
the duration of the warm months here at Mile Pond, high temperatures typically reach the 70's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Mile Pond
through the winter regularly dip into the-10's. Nearby lakes? Sure, McConnell Pond is in the vicinity of Mile Pond; Mile Pond is a perfect site to visit for more than one day, Lakeside Camping Area is a perfect site to camp nearby.
