This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Fairbanks Inn is a good choice, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Lower Symes Pond. McLam Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. So much fun stuff in the White Mountains, just fantastic. If you came for an overnight stay Harvey's Lake Cabins And Campground is a perfect spot to camp, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort       Inn & Suites. During the summer months at McLam Pond temperatures are regularly in the 80's while overnight lows are frequently in the 50's. Through the winter highs are generally in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at McLam Pond temperatures fall to the 0's.
