If you are in Caledonia county it's always a good idea to stop by McLam Pond. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to McLam Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at McLam Pond dip into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Pond. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Coburn Pond; great hiking is available along the Peacham Bog Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains.

so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Lyndon Outing Club. There's good hiking along the Coldwater Brook Trail; paddling on Wells River is so much fun. Yep, outdoors entertaining things truly is bountiful here in
the White Mountains. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a tremendous choice, and hiking is a popular thing to do around McLam Pond; Wrights Mountain Trail is a pleasant local trail.
Lakes are wonderful; Lower Symes Pond is a lake that's near McLam Pond, and Fairbanks Inn is a wonderful place to get some rest.
