Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Green Mountains. Hit the slopes at Suicide Six nearby; if you need a place to stay Quality Inn At Quechee Gorge is a delightful choice. Man, is there lots of entertaining things to do in the neighborhood of McIntosh Pond. Get dripping wet paddling on White River - First Branch,       needless to say you could also take a look at Standing Pond if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. At McIntosh Pond Dam near McIntosh Pond there are some interesting things to see, and folks from Lebanon love to come here. McIntosh Pond is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit White River, and dry warm beds await you at The Woodstock Inn & Resort. All the water                  falling down from the sky makes McIntosh Pond a wet site; August is the wettest month with most rain; February is when it's the driest. All through the warm months highs here at McIntosh Pond reach the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are typically in the 20's while McIntosh Pond nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. Joseph Smith Monument is an attention-grabbing thing to catch a sight of since you're here at McIntosh Pond, and if the weather is delightful, you obtain a great sight of Elephant Hill from McIntosh Pond. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Green Mountains. If you came to camp Lake Champagne Campground is a great location to do that, and McIntosh Pond is not the only site close by, Tunbridge Trout Pond is a close by lake. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Bear Hill Trail, and Twin Farms has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff. All the outdoors cool stuff in the Green Mountains will keep you coming back again and again. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site.
