Jim: Growing up I have had a place on maidstone lake it was my favorit spot at a kid and one day I hope to own another camp up there. I had the best time from water skiing to fishing. To me the best time of year was 4th of July because of all the fireworks and the early morning cannon going off!! and Winter snow mobiling -40 degree wether cant beet it! RED WOOD ON THE ROCKS!

Maidstone Lake is right by the Moose Trail, and glide down the rapids of Israel River in a kayak. The warmest time of the year at Maidstone Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are typically in the 20's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Maidstone Lake dip into the-10's. | | Trail is perfect fun; Maidstone State Park is a good local forest. The Shore Trail offers hiking at its best, and why not head up to Burke Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. An average amount of rain falls at Maidstone Lake; during the month of August you get the most rain around here; February is when it's the driest. lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Maidstone Lake has to offer, you can camp at Big Rock Campground and Store, and possibly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Paul Stream Pond is just a very
short distance away. On a lovely day you obtain a vista of Lake Mountain from Maidstone Lake, and lots of folks from Berlin come here. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Maidstone Lake. A delightful
nearby hotel is Coos Motor Inn. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Lancaster Motor Inn is a delightful place to spend a night or two; Walker Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. If you want a delightful
time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Maidstone Lake. You're probably hooked on lakes, Dutton Pond is one of those close by; get wet paddling on Nulhegan River.
