little time. There's so much to do here at Mackville Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Larry and Sons Campground is a great place for that; it's a magnificent idea to stop at Cooper Brook. This lake is so wonderful.
There's great hiking along the Osmore Pond Hiking Loop, and why not go to Mackville Dam if you're here. Mackville Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the
driest month. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Green Mountains. On a delightful day you can visit Martell Swamp, a swamp in the vicinity of Mackville Pond; if you need a place to stay Hollow Inn and Motel is a wonderful
choice. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Mackville Pond; Owls Head Trail is a pleasant local trail, and while you're here you can play some golf at Woodbury Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Winooski River is a splendid
whitewater spot in close proximity to Mackville Pond, and you're probably into lakes, Hardwick Lake is one of those close by. Don't leave Mackville Pond without first going for a hike along the Kettle Pond Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Barre-Days Inn Barre/Montpelier.
