    Lyons Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Lyons Pond is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains. The high level of precipitation makes Lyons Pond a rather wet location; August is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. The warmest time of the year at Lyons Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime  
   come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Lyons Pond dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
This lake is so wonderful. The Little Michigan Trail is a perfect hiking trail near Lyons Pond, and don't forget to take a delightful little spree to Farnum Brook. If you come at the right time of year, West River offers some great whitewater, and dry warm beds await you at Inns at the Equinox. If you need a spot to stay Mt Snow Grand Summit Resort
 
               is a great choice; Hapgood Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at.
This place, Lyons Pond, it truly has so much outdoors cool stuff. Farnum Dam is charming and it's near Lyons Pond; a lake close by is Mud Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is good here at Lyons Pond, you can go for a hike along the Jones Brook Trail, and hey, Gotta ski right? Bromley is a glorious place to do that.
Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Green Mountains. What would winter be without some skiing at Stratton, and you're sure to run into some good people from Bennington here. Yeah, come here to Lyons Pond for a great time. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Winhall River, and camping is available at Campground A. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Green Mountains is excellent! There is a good hiking trail near Lyons Pond called the Utley Brook Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Maryville Campground and Gift Shop is a tremendous spot to camp.
