Many people like to go to Lower Symes Pond. The amount of precipitation that falls at Lower Symes Pond is close to the national average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is frequently the driest month. Warners Campground is a tremendous local campground, and the snow is magnificent at Lyndon Outing Club. At Lower Symes Pond through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's.

Campground is a wonderful campground nearby. That right there is plenty already, but it keeps on going; Lower Symes Pond has it all. If you need a spot to stay Fairbanks Inn is a magnificent choice, and in case you don’t have a problem
getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wells River. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the White Mountains. Go for a hike on the Wrights Mountain Trail, and don't leave Lower Symes Pond without first going for a hike along the Coldwater Brook Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
