If you are traveling by, why not stop by Lower Pond. At Lower Pond all through the months of summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area close
to Lower Pond has to offer. Dow Hill can be seen from Lower Pond, and Residence Inn By Marriott Burlington is a perfect place to get some rest. There's delightful hiking along the Beane Trail; you'll meet a lot of folks from Burlington-South
Burlington here. From a rainfall point of view Lower Pond is a quite typical site; the wettest month of the year is generally August, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest.
And that's
not all you can do here at Lower Pond. Cochran Ski Center is a very popular ski area around here. Get your heart pumping on the brilliant whitewater of Lewis Creek, and why not head up to Mad River Glen and strap some skis to your feet.
