The beauty of Lost Pond is reason enough to stop by. This spot, the Green Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Mill River is a good whitewater spot close to Lost Pond, and Lost Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Campground A is a magnificent local campground. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Baker Peak Trail; Swale Meadow is a pretty spot any time of year. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining stuff

| | just keep reading. At Lost Pond you can spot Baker Peak, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lost Pond; Old Job Trail is a magnificent local trail. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Green Mountains, not enough time. If you came to camp Otter Creek Campground is a delightful location to do that; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Little Mud Pond. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Green Mountains. | |

This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. Throughout the warmest time of the year, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Lost Pond. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The wintertime
comes with highs in the 20's, and night lows at Lost Pond through the wintertime generally dip into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Big Branch close to Lost Pond, and not far from Lost Pond you'll discover
Big Mud Pond which is a beautiful lake. Lake Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to; the slopes of Snow Valley are so inviting nobody can resist. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! Lost Pond
is so good! If you need a site to stay Red Roof Inn Rutland - Killington is a delightful choice, and since you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Rutland. Holiday Inn Rutland/Killington Area, Vt is a good place to get
some rest; Bromley is a glorious local ski area. The amount of rainfall that falls at Lost Pond is close to the national average; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Elbow Swamp is a swamp close to Lost Pond, and do take a hike on the Staples Trail.
