Mill River is a good whitewater spot close to Lost Pond, and Lost Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Campground A is a magnificent local campground. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Baker Peak Trail; Swale Meadow is a pretty spot any time of year. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining stuff       just keep reading. At Lost Pond you can spot Baker Peak, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lost Pond; Old Job Trail is a magnificent local trail. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Green Mountains, not enough time. If you came to camp Otter Creek Campground is a delightful location to do that; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Little Mud Pond. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Green Mountains.                  This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. Throughout the warmest time of the year, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Lost Pond. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. You can run the rapids of Big Branch close to Lost Pond, and not far from Lost Pond you'll discover Big Mud Pond which is a beautiful lake.
