This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Hazen's Notch Campground since you're here at Lost Pond, and Lost Pond is right by the The Long Trail. Lost Pond is a wet spot that gets a good deal of rain; August is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Hiking along the Haselton Trail is pleasant fun. Why not visit close by Otter Brook if you're here at Lost Pond; there's whitewater on Gihon River for

| | all you adrenaline kick people. From Lost Pond you acquire a fine vista of Hodgkins-Lackey Hill; get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Lamoille River. This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. So many enjoyable things in the Green Mountains, just unbelievable. Dry warm beds await you at Northern Lights Lodge, and of course, this is a tremendous region for folks who like lakes, Belvidere Pond is a lake close at hand. This | |

Innsbruck Inn At Stowe is a wonderful place to get some rest, and the Bayley Hazen Military Road Trail offers hiking at its best. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Lost Pond. When the night sets in temperatures
plunge down into the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are commonly in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Lost Pond descend into the 0's. Man, is there a lot of cool things to do in the
vicinity of Lost Pond. Lakeview Camping Area is a great local campground, and great skiing awaits you at Smugglers Notch.
