    Lost Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. A good deal of precipitation falls at Lost Pond; the wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is February. Dry warm beds await you at Manchester View Fine Lodging, and Red Mill Brook Campground is a fine local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Snow Valley is a very popular ski area in close proximity, and if the weather is fine, you can  
   go for a hike along the Cooridor 7.
At Lost Pond during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Lost Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Lots of folks from Bennington come to Lost Pond, and float down the rapids of Roaring Branch in a kayak. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by
 
               Stratton.
You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting things the Green Mountains has to offer. If you need a spot to stay Arcady At The Sunderland Lodge is a good choice, and if you come at the right time of year, Deerfield River - East Branch offers some nice whitewater. Lost Pond is located in the Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Lost Pond is not the only site nearby, Branch Pond is a nearby lake, and you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Branch Pond Trail.
And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do close to Lost Pond. Howell's Camping Area is a great campground nearby, and why not stop by nearby Branch Pond Brook if you're here at Lost Pond. Having a delightful time in the Green Mountains is uncomplicated. If you get bored of Lost Pond, you could also stop by close by Beebe Pond, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Deerfield Trail.
