The beauty of Long Pond attracts many people from all around. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. The Herbert Hawkes Hiking Trail is a good hiking trail next to Long Pond, and beautiful scenery and perfect skiing is what you get at Burke Mountain. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Long Pond temperatures are regularly in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's,

If the weather is brilliant here at Long Pond, you can go for a hike along the South Shore Hiking Trail, and the summit of Goodwin Mountain can be distinguished from Long Pond. And if that's not sufficient there's a lot more cool things to do in the Green Mountains. of Barton River. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a perfect time here at Long Pond. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Clyde River, and skiing at Lyndon Outing Club is one of those things
you just ought to do. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Holiday Motel and Annex is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two; you can stay the night at White Caps Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Long Pond
is a nice location to visit for more than one day, White Caps Campground is a nice location to camp nearby, and not far from Long Pond you'll come across Lake Willoughby which is a gorgeous lake. An average amount of rain falls at
Long Pond; through August this area sees the most rain while February is generally the driest month. Just can't get enough of the Green Mountains. While you're here at Long Pond you can take a hike along the Mount Pisgah Trail, and Super 8 Motel - Derby/Newport Area is a splendid place to get some rest.
