Long Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. For the period of the summertime at Long Pond temperatures are typically in the 70's while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Long Pond are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Burke Mountain if you're here, and there are other spots here

Mountains. If the weather is delightful here at Long Pond, you can go for a hike along the South Shore Hiking Trail; Kings Pond is a good lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Long Pond you can take a hike along the Mount Pisgah Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Motel and Annex.
