There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Long Pond. Lakes are wonderful; Muddy Pond is a lake that's near Long Pond, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Wells River. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Long Pond without first going for a hike along the Peacham Bog Trail, and       dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites. This lake is so wonderful. Yep, outdoors fun things truly is bountiful here in the Green Mountains. There are great spots to discover along the Grimes Hill Road; there's whitewater on Waits River for all you adrenaline junkies. Not far from Long Pond, you'll locate Round Pond which is a wonderful lake; going for a hike on the Wrights Mountain Trail is always a fine adventure. There's no way anyone can get                  bored here in the Green Mountains. The top of Brock Hill is easily observed from Long Pond; if you came to camp Pleasant Valley Camp Grounds is a magnificent place to do that. Through the summer months highs here at Long Pond reach the 70's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Long Pond are in the 0's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains.
