It's always fun to stop by Long Pond. Paddling on Browns River is so much fun, and Quality Inn is a glorious place to get some rest. A tour to close by Beans Point is very relaxing, and near Long Pond you locate a golf course called Arrowhead Golf Course. Long Pond gets a typical amount of precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is January.

This lake is so wonderful. At Long Pond you can catch a glimpse of Diamond Hill, and what would winter be without
some skiing at Cochran Ski Center. Through the warmest time of the year here at Long Pond, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Long Pond.
