Long Pond is always a pleasure to visit. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the Green Mountains. The slopes of Burke Mountain are so inviting noone can resist, and in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Barton River. Camping at Will-o-wood Campground is always a good experience, and perhaps you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Crystal Lake is just a very short distance away. Clyde River has

| | a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby; a great close by hotel is Holiday Motel and Annex.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Super 8 Motel - Derby/Newport Area is a pleasant choice, and going for a hike on the Herbert Hawkes Hiking Trail is always a splendid adventure. campground, and you can go for a hike on the South Shore Hiking Trail. Long Pond is a good site of normal precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month.
Long Pond is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Lyndon Outing Club is a brilliant local ski area. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Long Pond. Big Rock Hill is clearly visible
from Long Pond, and don't leave Long Pond without first going for a hike along the Mount Pisgah Trail.
For the duration of the summer months, highs usually are in the 70's at Long Pond while nighttime lows are regularly in the
50's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 20's, and night lows all through the wintertime for Long Pond tend to be in the 0's.
