Go to Long Hole if you want to go to a nice lake. This spot rocks, just look at all the cool things to do close to Long Hole. Don't miss out on a perfect swamp; Elbow Swamp is right here at Long Hole, obviously you could also stop by Little Mud Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. A good location for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Long Hole is Big Branch, and on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Staples Trail. Long Hole is located

| | in the Green Mountains. So many cool things to do here in the Green Mountains, too great to be true. Long Hole is not the only spot close by, Griffith Lake is a close by lake, and swing by Three Shanties Brook it's a brilliant spot to pop by. At Long Hole all through the months of summer highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. the dark hours in the winter at Long Hole temperatures descend to the 0's. Man, is there lots of entertaining things to do in the Green Mountains. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Long Hole has to offer, you
can camp at Campground A, and a day on the slopes of Bromley is just what you need. Any time is a brilliant time at Long Hole if you adore the outdoors. There's so much to do here at Long Hole that you need to camp here for a while,
Campground B is a perfect site for that, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Rutland here. You just have to go for the Green Mountains. Mill River is a glorious whitewater spot in close proximity to Long Hole; after a long day outdoors
Manchester View Fine Lodging is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Near Long Hole you find the Baker Peak Trail which is a great hiking trail, and the skiing at Snow Valley is brilliant. This
lake is so wonderful. Baker Peak can be spotted from Long Hole; Inns at the Equinox is a nice site to get some rest. Long Hole is a wet place that gets lots of rain; most of the rain falls throughout August, and February is when it's
the driest. Do set aside some time for Swale Meadow since you're here at Long Hole, and the Lake Trail is a delightful hiking trail close by.
