Many people like to go to Lockwood Pond. So much fun stuff in the Green Mountains, just incredible. Do go to Belvidere Pond in the neighborhood of Lockwood Pond, it's a wonderful lake, and you'll locate a striking lake called Corez Pond. High temperatures at Lockwood Pond during the summer are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; overnight lows during the wintertime for Lockwood

| | Pond tend to be in the 0's. There are some nice whitewater spots on Gihon River, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Bayley Hazen Military Road Trail. location to camp, and the snow is good at Jay Peak. The top of Belvidere Mountain is easily seen from Lockwood Pond; if you need a place to stay Golden Eagle Resort is a delightful choice. Just can't get enough of Lockwood Pond. Hazen's
Notch Campground is a brilliant local campground, and a day on the slopes of Smugglers Notch is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful.
