    It's always fun to stop by Little Rock Pond. Yeah, come here to Little Rock Pond for a fine time. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Little Rock Pond with nighttime lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Little Rock Pond. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Green Mountains. The summit
 
   of Green Mountain can be seen from Little Rock Pond, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Homer Stone Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are nice; Lost Pond is a lake that's near Little Rock Pond. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Little Rock Pond has to offer, you can camp at Otter Creek Campground. Little Rock Pond gets a normal amount of yearly rain; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is  
               February.
These mountains rock, just check out all the exciting stuff to do in the Green Mountains. There's so much to do here at Little Rock Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Campground A is a nice location for that, and going for a hike on the Green Mountain Trail is always a good adventure. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Bromley; in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Branch. Not far from Little Rock Pond, you'll discover Wallingford Pond which is a pretty lake, and there are fine sites to discover along the Keewaydin Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Snow Valley has glorious slopes and a friendly staff, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Rutland/Killington Area, Vt is a delightful place to spend a night or two. So much fun stuff to do here at Little Rock Pond, too brilliant to be true. Visit Big Black Branch while you're here at Little Rock Pond, and a tremendous close by hotel is Red Roof Inn Rutland - Killington. This is a popular site for people from Rutland, and Mill River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby.

Easy going trail from Mt Tabor to Rocky Pond, a 4 mile round trip, 1 1/2 to 2 hour hike. The hike is well worth seeing this breath taking pond. Very secluded & peaceful with tent sites and one or two shelters. Over night stays are 5.00 per person, per night. If you love 'roughing it' camping, this is a great place to go. I am enclosing a picture i took on June 19th 2007....
