That right there is a load already, but it goes on; Little Pond has it all. This lake is so wonderful. Near Little Pond you hit upon a golf course called Woodbury Golf Course, and you can catch a glimpse of Foster Hill from Little Pond. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even       more enjoyable things to do here in the Green Mountains. Don't leave Little Pond without first going for a hike along the Owls Head Trail, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Barre here. A brilliant location to camp here at Little Pond is Spooners Trailer Park and Campground, and some nearby water includes Carr Brook. Very wonderful water scenery is available at Mirror Lake Dam near Little Pond, and there's great hiking along the Silver Ledge Trail. High                  temperatures at Little Pond through the long summer days are in the 60's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's while Little Pond overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. And if that's not sufficient there's plenty more enjoyable things to do in the Green Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Barre Montpelier, and Minister Brook is a brilliant whitewater spot close by. And that's not all you can do here at Little Pond. Camping is available at Onion River Campground, and Little Pond is not the only site nearby, Mirror Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something close to Little Pond? Forest Lake is in the neighborhood, and if you need a place to stay Hollow Inn and Motel is a pleasant choice.
