     And that's not all there is to do here in the Green Mountains. Smugglers Notch is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood; if you need a spot to stay The Inn at Montpelier is a pleasant choice. All through the days of summer highs here at Little Pond reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are ordinarily in the 20's, and overnight lows at Little Pond during the winter generally fall into the 0's.  
   This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Mountain View Campground is a fine site to do that, and there is a perfect hiking trail close by called the Owls Head Trail.
Little Pond in fact is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Minister Brook; if you get bored of Little Pond you could also check out nearby Slayton Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Green Valley
 
               Campground is always a nice experience, and don’t forget to stop at Hardwood Flats while you're here at Little Pond. Just can't get enough of the Green Mountains. You need to stop at Eagle Ledge since you're here at Little Pond; the Kettle Pond Trail is a brilliant hiking trail nearby.
Little Pond typically gets a good deal of rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Hardwood Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at; going for a hike on the Osmore Pond Hiking Loop is always a great adventure.
You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area in the neighborhood of Little Pond has to offer. There's whitewater on Winooski River for all you adrenaline kick people, and Stowe has great slopes and a friendly staff. If you're visiting Little Pond from Barre, you won't be the only one; CAPITAL INN is a great spot to get some rest.
