What a nice lake Little Pond is. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Little Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Green Valley Campground is a good site for that; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Smugglers Notch. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Green Mountains. Get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Winooski River; if the weather is

| | perfect, you can go for a hike along the Owls Head Trail. Little Pond regularly gets lots of rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. After a long day outdoors Sunset Motor Inn is a great site to spend a night or two, and the Osmore Pond Hiking Loop is a delightful hiking trail nearby. During the summertime here at Little | |

Pond, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. Through the winter highs are commonly in the 20's, and overnight lows at Little Pond during the wintertime mostly fall into the 0's.
And if that's not enough there's a heap more entertaining stuff to do in the Green Mountains. You simply should go to Eagle Ledge if you're here at Little Pond; Hardwood Flats is a brilliant place to check out. This lake is so wonderful.
Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Minister Brook; going for a hike along the Kettle Pond Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. You'll need more than a day to discover
everything Little Pond has to offer, you can camp at Mountain View Campground.
What a site this is for outdoors people. Hardwood Pond is a tremendous lake in the neighborhood of Little Pond, and the cheerful folks of Barre like to hang out nearby. A fine nearby hotel is Plaza Hotel, and you can hit the slopes at Stowe close at hand.
