Do stop by Little Pond while you're in this part of Vermont. This lake is so wonderful. La Quinta Inn & Suites St. Albans is a great place to get some rest, and during your journey here you'll meet some people from Burlington-South Burlington for sure. The high level of rainfall makes Little Pond a pretty wet spot; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is the month with the least moisture. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge St. Albans is
a splendid place to spend a night or two, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Missisquoi River.
If you get bored of Little Pond, you could also go to nearby Lake Carmi, and beautiful scenery and nice skiing is what you get at Smugglers Notch. The warmest time of the year at Little Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are typically in the 20's; overnight lows

at Little Pond during the winter regularly drop into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
A wonderful location to camp here at Little Pond is Millpond Campground, and there are some great whitewater spots on Lamoille River. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the area in the neighborhood of Little Pond has to offer. Little Pond is not the only place nearby, Burleson Pond is a nearby lake, and an afternoon playing golf at Enosburg Falls Country Club is always a pleasure. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Jay Peak if you're here; why not camp at Hazen's Notch Campground since you're here at Little Pond.

Jay Peak is 385 acres and 2,153 vertical feet of glades, bumps, groomers, and parks. Eight lifts, including Vermont's only aerial tramway, access 76 trails, 4 terrain parks for all abilities, and on average, 376 inches of natural snow every season. Jay Peak is well known for its glades and extreme chutes but there's more to the mountain than just expert terrain ? like The Zone, Jay Peak's learning area, which includes 4 lifts that access 11 trails and introductory glades....
Hmm? Jay Peak seems like it has two peaks, shouldn't it be called Jay Peaks? But other than the confusing name I have no complaints. Lots of good runs....
