If you get bored of Little Pond, you could also have a look at close by Big Pond. At Little Pond throughout the warm months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 30's; night lows during the winter for Little Pond tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Lost Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by,       and the skiing at Mount Snow is good. Good hiking is available along the Atwood Trail, and you can stay the night at Red Mill Brook Campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Knights Inn Bennington is a glorious choice; there's nice hiking along the Old Stage Trail. There's so much to do here at Little Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Holysmoke Camps is a glorious location for that, and whitewater paddling is glorious                  on Roaring Branch. Alexandra B and B is a delightful place to get some rest; Hagar Hill is striking and can be seen from here. Little Pond in fact is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Haystack is in close proximity to Little Pond, and get covered with water paddling on Walloomsac River. Little Pond is a wet place that gets a lot of rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
