    If you are in this part of Vermont make sure to pay a visit to Little Pond. Get wet paddling on Walloomsac River; hiking along the Old Stage Trail is magnificent fun. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the magnificent skiing at Haystack; Little Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Red Mill Brook Campground is a great local campground. Yeah, come here to Little Pond for a good time. Little Pond is right by the Atwood Trail, and if the  
   weather is pretty, you obtain a good vista of Hagar Hill from Little Pond.
A splendid site to camp here at Little Pond is Holysmoke Camps; paddling on Roaring Branch is so much fun. You're probably addicted to lakes, Big Pond is one of those close by; if you need a spot to stay Knights Inn Bennington is a fine choice. Really great skiing awaits you at Mount Snow, and this is a popular location for people from Bennington.
Summertime highs at Little
 
               Pond typically tend to be in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Little Pond temperatures sink to the 0's. Little Pond is a wet place that gets much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August; February is the month with the least moisture.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn is a pleasant site to spend a night or two, and the Molly Stark Trail offers hiking at its best.
