Little Mud Pond is a nice lake to visit. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things near Little Mud Pond. Golf can be played at Woodbury Golf Course, and Knob Hill Pond is a tremendous lake close by. At Little Mud Pond throughout the months of summer highs are in the 60's, and the nighttime is quite colder of course, generally in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's, and overnight lows through the winter for Little Mud

A great place for whitewater paddling close to Little Mud Pond is Winooski River, and dry warm beds await you at Barre-Days Inn Barre/Montpelier. This lake is so wonderful. Mud Pond is nearby, and going for a hike along the Kettle Pond Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. That right there is lots of exciting stuff already
but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. The Osmore Pond Hiking Loop is a perfect hiking trail in close proximity to Little Mud Pond, and Onion River Campground is a great local campground. A great deal of rain falls at Little
Mud Pond; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is glorious here at Little Mud Pond, you can go for a hike along the Owls Head
Trail; Little Mud Pond is a spot with many visitors from Barre. If you need a place to stay Hollow Inn and Motel is a nice choice, and at Little Mud Pond you can distinguish Knob Hill.
