Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Green Mountains is so good!. During the warmest time of the year highs here at Little Mud Pond get into the 80's. When the night sets in       temperatures drop down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Little Mud Pond. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Bromley, and you can run the rapids of Mill River. And if that's not enough there's loads more amusing things to do in the Green Mountains. The snow is good at Snow Valley, and Three Shanties Brook is near Little                  Mud Pond and is always a pleasure to stop by. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Green Mountains. If you need a location to stay Inns at the Equinox is a nice choice, and going for a hike along the Staples Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Camping is available at Campground A, and hiking along the Old Job Trail is nice fun. This lake is so wonderful. Why not pop by a swamp like Elbow Swamp since you're here at Little Mud Pond, and a charming lake like Long Hole is a magnificent place to pop by. A good close by hotel is Red Roof Inn Rutland - Killington, and at Little Mud Pond you can catch a glimpse of Baker Peak. Why not camp at Otter Creek Campground if you're here at Little Mud Pond, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Lake Trail. There's whitewater on Big Branch for all you adrenaline junkies, and you'll find a pretty lake called Lost Pond. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
