Pond is right by the Old Job Trail; Little Mud Pond is not far at all from Rutland. A perfect spot to camp here at Little Mud Pond is Campground A, and while you're here at Little Mud Pond it's a splendid idea to stop by Swale
Meadow. All the outdoors cool things in the Green Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. The snow is perfect at Bromley, and you can run the rapids of Mill River. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Staples Trail
is perfect fun, and Baker Peak is clearly visible from Little Mud Pond. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
