For you golfers we recommend close by Equinox Country Club; if you need a place to stay Avalanche Motel is a wonderful choice. A large amount of rain falls at Little Mud Pond; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest month is February. Hiking along the Lye Brook Trail is pleasant fun. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. So many exciting things to do in the Green Mountains,       not sufficient time. If you came for an overnight stay Maryville Campground and Gift Shop is a delightful place to camp, and Inns at the Equinox is a great place to get some rest. All the outdoors entertaining things next to Little Mud Pond will keep you coming back many times. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Bromley, and Bourn Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore. Here at Little Mud Pond you'll probably meet some folks                  from Bennington, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Winhall River. Campground C is a wonderful campground nearby, and Snow Valley is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is brilliant here at Little Mud Pond, you can go for a hike along the Branch Pond Trail, and there's whitewater on Roaring Branch for all you adrenaline kick people. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Cooridor 7 will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and if you're here, you could also take a look at charming Stratton Pond.
