    A visit to Little Averill Pond is always a good idea. Near Little Averill Pond you find the Gore Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Gaudette Tote Road. Man, is there loads of exciting things to do in the vicinity of Little Averill Pond. You'll meet a lot of people from Berlin here, and Big Rock Campground and Store is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
There is a delightful hiking
 
   trail next to Little Averill Pond called the Number Six Road. Lakes are wonderful; Little Averill Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Little Averill Pond. The vista of Brousseau Mountain from Little Averill Pond is wonderful, and Little Averill Dam is an exciting thing to check out. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Burke Mountain, and if you came for an overnight stay Lakeside Camping Area is a splendid location to  
               camp.
The yearly rainfall here at Little Averill Pond is about average; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. Not far from Little Averill Pond, you'll come across Great Averill Pond which is a scenic lake, and soar down the rapids of Nulhegan River in a kayak. High temperatures at Little Averill Pond during the days of summer are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs all through the winter are typically in the 20's with temperatures at Little Averill Pond dipping down into the-10's through winter nights.
