    Many people like to go to Little Averill Lake. Why not camp at Big Rock Campground and Store while you're here at Little Averill Lake, and almost certainly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Great Averill Pond is just a very short distance away. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. A brilliant site to camp here at Little Averill Lake is Lakeside Camping Area, and going for a hike along the Gaudette Tote Road will let you absorb the natural beauty  
   of this region. You're probably addicted to lakes, Little Averill Pond is one of those nearby; hey, Gotta ski right? Burke Mountain is a great place to do that.
The amount of precipitation that falls at Little Averill Lake is close to the national average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you're dropping by Little Averill Lake from Berlin, you won't be the only
 
               one, and paddling on Nulhegan River is so much fun. Through the months of summer highs here at Little Averill Lake reach the 70's, and the night is somewhat chillier of course, generally in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Little Averill Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water nearby, The Inlet is a stream you can explore while here, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Number Six Road. Why not go to Little Averill Dam since you're here; if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Gore Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
