A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Little Averill Lake; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most; February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. The Number Six Road is a nice hiking trail in the neighborhood of Little Averill Lake, and Lakeside Camping Area is a magnificent campground nearby. The snow is tremendous at Burke Mountain,       and Little Averill Lake is a glorious place to visit for more than one day, Big Rock Campground and Store is a glorious place to camp nearby. Don't forget to take a fine little journey to The Inlet, and nearby you hit upon the Gore Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. Man, is there lots of amusing things to do near Little Averill Lake. Little Averill Lake is a spot with many visitors from Berlin, and if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike                  along the Gaudette Tote Road. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can explore Little Averill Dam, and get soaked paddling on Nulhegan River. At Little Averill Lake through the long summer days highs are in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's.
