If you are in Windham county it's always a good idea to stop by Lily Pond. That right there is heaps of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. A glorious nearby hotel is Winterplace on Okemo Mountain, and Hideaway Squirrel Hill Camp is a tremendous local campground. Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again. Do check out Lowell Lake near Lily Pond, it's a striking lake; why not take a refreshing

| | hike along the Hamilton Falls Trail. Summer at Lily Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Lily Pond drop into the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit West River; do take a hike on the Overlook Trail. What would winter be without some skiing at | |

Okemo, and Lily Pond is right by the Railroad Bed Trail.
Any time is a fine time at Lily Pond if you adore the outdoors. The slopes of Magic Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist, and why not camp at Horseshoe Acres Camp
Grounds while you're here at Lily Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of West River in a kayak, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Ludlow Colonial Motel is a great location to spend a night or two. This
lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains.
Lily Pond is right next door to Lowell Lake Dam which is a gorgeous place undeniably worth checking out, and the vista of picturesque Cobble Hill is good. Lily Pond gets a typical
amount of yearly rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; February is the month with the least moisture.
