The beauty of Lily Pond is reason enough to stop by. Go for a hike on the Daniel Coffey Memorial Trial; after a long day outdoors Courtyard By Marriott Middlebury is a splendid place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent close by hotel is Highlander Motel; going for a hike on the Bomoseen Hiking Loop is always a pleasant adventure. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lily Pond has to offer, you can camp at Bomoseen

| | State Park Campground; swamps like Beaver Meadow are fun to check out. This place, Lily Pond, it completely has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Lily Pond is a tremendous location to visit for more than one day, Half Moon State Park Campground is a tremendous location to camp nearby, and there are delightful sites to discover along the Half Moon Pond Trail. is always a good idea. Yeah, come here to Lily Pond for a perfect time. Loves Marsh Dam has great water scenery and it's close to Lily Pond, needless to say you could also take a look at Loves Marsh if you're here; it's not far at
all. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something in the neighborhood of Lily Pond? Halfmoon Lake is in the vicinity, and a wonderful place for whitewater paddling is Poultney River. Through the long summer days highs here
at Lily Pond get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Lily Pond dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. The annual rainfall here at Lily

Country Village Campgrounds

Country Village Campground has 41 spacious sites that can accommodate small tents all the way up to the largest of campers. The bath house is clean and spacious with hot showers, and it is located right in the middle of the campground for easy access to all sites. A trip to Country Village Campground wouldn’t be complete without a visit to nearby Branbury State Park; nearby you hit upon the Silver Lake Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. Camping in Vermont is such a fun thing to do. All the nice local attractions in close proximity and the nice variety of outdoors recreation will certainly have you coming back persistently.
Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Fern Lake which is small and pristine. At this campground you will always have a delightful time. Getting to Neshobe River from Country Village Campground is simple, and Middlebury River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby.

Rocky Pond
 | 14 miles away 4 PHOTOS Easy going trail from Mt Tabor to Rocky Pond, a 4 mile round trip, 1 1/2 to 2 hour hike. The hike is well worth seeing this breath taking pond. Very secluded & peaceful with tent sites and one or two shelters. Over night stays are 5.00 per person, per night. If you love 'roughing it' camping, this is a great place to go.  | 16 miles away White Rocks,great trail 0.8 miles up. Trails interstect with AT, check map before you go up. Two water falls on the left. First one could be risky to see always a wet gorge. Second is off the AT a short way. At the top is a rock art garden where a sign for White Rocks cliff trail 0.2 to overlook, great view west north and south. The peak was quite higher at one time in the past. Looking down over the cliff edge are three seperate rock falls which is the old peak.... |
