Lily Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Just can't get enough of Lily Pond. Loves Marsh Dam has nice water scenery and it's in close proximity to Lily Pond; on a great day you can take a look at Beaver Meadow, a swamp near Lily Pond. Near Lily Pond you stumble on the Bomoseen Hiking Loop which is a great hiking trail, and an afternoon playing golf at Prospect Bay Country Club is always a diversion. There's so much to do here at Lily Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Half Moon State Park Campground is a perfect place for that; a splendid close by hotel is Courtyard By Marriott Middlebury. | |

This lake is so wonderful. Castleton Municipal Forest is a good local forest; if you need a spot to stay Highlander Motel is a good choice. There are other sites here than Lily Pond, for example Lake Hortonia; if you came to camp
Bomoseen State Park Campground is a tremendous site to do that. Going for a hike on the Half Moon Pond Trail is always a fine adventure, and in case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling
on Poultney River. Sucker Brook is a pleasant spot to go to, and close by you locate Cedar Point. This lake is so wonderful. A good sight of stunning Cedar Mountain is available from Lily Pond, and you're sure to run into some wonderful
people from Rutland here. But wait, there's more to do near Lily Pond. Lake Bomoseen is a fine lake near Lily Pond, and you can go for a hike on the Daniel Coffey Memorial Trial. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Lily Pond; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
