Endless Brook is a brilliant place to check out; a visit to nearby Atwater Bay is very relaxing. This lake is so wonderful. Near Lily Pond you find Finel Hollow which is a splendid location to explore, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not visit Little Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Saint Catherine Mountain is pretty and can be seen from Lily Pond; camping at Lake Bomoseen Camp Ground is always a brilliant experience. After a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Rutland is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two, and Lake St Catherine Country Club is a golf course nearby. RUTLAND-KILLINGTON AREA is a good choice. That right there is loads already, but it continues; Lily Pond has it all. Good hiking is available along the Glen Lake Trail, and in the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Poultney River.

If only every location had this much outdoor entertaining stuff, what a great planet it would be. A tremendous place like Half Moon Pond State Park is near Country Village Campground and is too wonderful to leave out, and going for a hike on the Falls of Lana Trail is always a perfect adventure. All through the warm days of summer at Country Village Campground highs are mostly in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's. When the weather is good here at Country Village Campground, you can go for a hike along the Chandler Ridge Trail, and the friendly people of Brandon like to hang out nearby. The Duval Trail is a delightful hiking trail next to Country Village Campground, and a day on Pico Mountain is just what you need.
