     Vermont has many beautiful lakes and Light Trout Club Lake is one of them. What a site this is for outdoors folks. There's good hiking along the Dalley Loop Trail; everyone nearby loves skiing at Bolton Valley. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side visit to Bat Harris Brook, and Weathertop Mountain Inn is a delightful site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater  
   paddling on Winooski River. Lakes? Sure, Winooski River Reservoir is in the neighborhood.
Summertime at Light Trout Club Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 60's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 10's; nighttime lows at Light Trout Club Lake during the wintertime typically descend into the 0's. That right there is loads of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. A round of golf at nearby Country Club of Vermont is a perfect way to kill some time, and whitewater paddling is good on Mad River.
You'll need more than a day to discover everything Light Trout Club Lake has to offer, you can camp at Gold Brook Campground, and Moretown Falls is always fun to check out. Light Trout Club Lake truly is in the middle of a lovely outdoors paradise. A great nearby hotel is Best Western Waterbury-Stowe; hey, Gotta ski right? Stowe is a tremendous place to do that. Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. From Light Trout Club Lake you get a pleasant view of Mount Cobb, and don't leave Light Trout Club Lake without first going for a hike along the Hedgehop Hill Loop Trail.
