Best Western Waterbury-Stowe is a tremendous place to get some rest, and during your spree here you'll meet some people from Barre for sure. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Green Mountains. There is a splendid hiking trail next to Light Trout Club Lake called the Stevenson Brook Trail;

| | after a long day outdoors Weathertop Mountain Inn is a splendid place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Winooski River. There's so much to do here at Light Trout Club Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Duxbury Campground is a splendid site for that. Go for a hike on the Dalley Loop Trail; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Stowe. That right there is a heap already, | |

but it continues; Light Trout Club Lake has it all. Going for a hike on the Hedgehop Hill Loop Trail is always a great adventure. Moretown Falls is always fun to check out, and if you come at the right time of year, Mad River
offers some fine whitewater. And that's not all you can do here at Light Trout Club Lake. The top of Mount Cobb is easily made out from Light Trout Club Lake, and Bolton Valley is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. This lake
is so wonderful. Getting to Bat Harris Brook from Light Trout Club Lake is simple, and a round of golf at nearby Country Club of Vermont is a good way to kill some time. Summer brings highs in the 60's to Light Trout Club Lake,
and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 10's while Light Trout Club Lake night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 0's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Green Mountains.
