| | always a good experience. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Number Six Road is glorious fun; the top of Lewis Mountain is easily seen from Lewis Pond. Take a hike on the Mount Gore Trail, and everyone close by loves skiing at Lyndon Outing Club. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. and the driest month of the year is February. Man, is there a load of enjoyable stuff to do in the Green Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Gore Trail, and soar down the rapids of Clyde River in a kayak. At Lewis
Pond through the summer highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; overnight lows in the-10's for Lewis Pond. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Burke Mountain is good, and Lewis Pond is not the only spot close by, McConnell Pond is a close by lake.

Is it still there????...Growing up I have had a place on maidstone lake it was my favorit spot at a kid and one day I hope to own another camp up there. I had the best time from water skiing to fishing.
