Levi Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. The sight of Jennison Mountain from Levi Pond is scenic, and there are swamps here too, Peacham Bog is in close proximity. High temperatures at Levi Pond all through the warm days of summer are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Levi Pond. Levi Pond is right by

| | the Peacham Bog Trail, and some of the water nearby flows, like Red Brook. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Green Mountains. If you came to camp Big Deer Campground is a splendid place to do that, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Groton State Forest Nature Trail.
