    Go to Lefferts Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. Go for a hike on the Canty Trail, and a great site for whitewater paddling is Mill River. You absolutely ought to have a thing about Lefferts Pond. Get your heart beating on the nice whitewater of Clarendon River, and not far from Lefferts Pond you obtain some tremendous water scenery at Lefferts Dam. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Green Mountains. Chittenden Reservoir is a nearby lake  
   that you could check out; Blue Ridge Mountain is a peak you can catch a sight of from Lefferts Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. A delightful place to camp here at Lefferts Pond is Hapgood Pond - Green Mountain National Forest, and don't leave Lefferts Pond without first going for a hike along the New Boston Trail. If you get bored of Lefferts Pond, you could also pop by close by Rutland City Reservoir; while you're here you will meet lots of folks from
 
               close by Rutland. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Chittenden Brook Campground is always a fine experience, and there are magnificent locations to explore along the South Pond Trail.
You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Killington since you're here, and White River Golf Course is a perfect golf course close by. Through the summer months, highs frequently are in the 80's at Lefferts Pond. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are regularly in the 20's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Lefferts Pond tend to be in the 0's. And if that's not sufficient there's a load more fun things to do in the Green Mountains.
This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. Just can't get enough of the Green Mountains. If you need a spot to stay Mountain Top Inn and Resort is a wonderful choice, and there's some flowing water close by, Billings Brook is a stream you can explore during your stay. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff to do are in fact bountiful here at Lefferts Pond. Econo Lodge Killington Area is a delightful place to get some rest, and what would winter be without some skiing at Pico Mountain.
A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Lefferts Pond; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest.
