The beauty of Lefferts Pond attracts many people from all around. From a rainfall point of view Lefferts Pond is a reasonably normal spot; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to come across some smiling folks from Rutland here; there's some flowing water close by, Billings Brook is a stream you can explore while you're here. | | abundant here at Lefferts Pond. If you came to camp Hapgood Pond - Green Mountain National Forest is a great spot to do that; the skiing at Killington is wonderful. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Clarendon River offers some delightful whitewater, and there is a splendid hiking trail close by called the New Boston Trail. 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Lefferts Pond sink into the 0's.
On a magnificent day at Lefferts Pond you can take a hike along the Canty Trail, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Pico Mountain is rather near. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Green Mountains, too wonderful to
be true. There are some good whitewater spots on Mill River, and if you're here you can play some golf at White River Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lefferts Pond that you need to camp here for
a while, Chittenden Brook Campground is a great place for that, and do have a look at Chittenden Reservoir, it's a striking lake. You clearly must adore Lefferts Pond. While you're here at Lefferts Pond you can take a hike along
the South Pond Trail. Man, is there a heap of enjoyable things to do in the Green Mountains. The panorama of pretty Blue Ridge Mountain near Lefferts Pond is tremendous, and a magnificent nearby hotel is The Moutain Top Inn and Resort.
Mountain Top Inn is a splendid place to get some rest; Lefferts Dam is a site that is next to Lefferts Pond.
