This lake is so wonderful. Foster Hill is a peak you can distinguish from Leech Pond, and going for a hike along the Owls Head Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Green Mountains. Hiking along the Kettle Pond Trail is wonderful fun, and Leech Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Spooners Trailer Park and Campground is a fine local campground. You'll truly wish for

| | more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Green Mountains. There's whitewater on Lamoille River - Wild Branch for all you adrenaline people, and a good close by hotel is Days Inn Barre Montpelier. You don't ought to go far from Leech Pond to enjoy Woodbury Town Forest, and obviously Buck Lake Brook flows through this region. A short trip to Blake Falls is always worthwhile, and not far from Leech Pond you get some brilliant water scenery at Woodbury | |

Upper Dam. If only every location had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great planet it would be. Woodbury Golf Course is a good golf course close by, and after a long day outdoors The Inn at Montpelier is a wonderful
spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Leech Pond, for example King Ponds, and camping at Onion River Campground is always a glorious experience. Summer brings highs in the 60's
to Leech Pond, and the overnight is a bit colder of course, commonly in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are ordinarily in the 10's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Leech Pond. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone
but if it's for you then we recommend Winooski River; Goodall Pond is a perfect lake close by. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do right next door to Leech Pond. If the weather is tremendous here at Leech Pond,
you can go for a hike along the Osmore Pond Hiking Loop, and people from Barre love to come here. Leech Pond is located in the Green Mountains. Leech Pond usually gets much rain; through August this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This location, the Green Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing things.
