Do stop by Lamson Pond while you're in this part of Vermont. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Suicide Six are so inviting noone can resist; get yourself into a kayak and hit White River - First Branch. At Sunset Lake Dam in the vicinity of Lamson Pond there are some attention-grabbing things to see, and Twin Farms is a great local ski area. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! | | Maplewood is a great choice, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Barnard Trail. High temperatures at Lamson Pond during the long summer days are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. During the winter highs are usually in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lamson Pond. amusing things to do here in the Green Mountains, too brilliant to be true. A brilliant close by hotel is Hilltop Inn, and lots of folks from Barre come here. Lamson Pond is a good place of normal precipitation; August is the wettest
month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff near Lamson Pond will keep you coming back again and again. On a nice day at Lamson Pond you can take a hike along the Clark
Brook Trail; Bear Hill is clearly visible from Lamson Pond. Get covered with water paddling on White River; you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Bear Hill Trail.
