This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. Through the warm days of summer at Lamoille River Reservoir highs are frequently in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's while Lamoille River Reservoir nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. | | the month with the least amount of precipitation. Yeah, come up here to the Green Mountains for a good time. Stay the night at Mountain View Campground; paddling on Lamoille River - Wild Branch is so much fun. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lamoille River Reservoir; Osmore Pond Hiking Loop is a wonderful local trail, and Lamoille River Reservoir is not far at all from Barre. Reservoir? Wolcott Pond is around here, and get soaked paddling on Winooski River. This lake is so wonderful. CAPITAL INN is a wonderful place to get some rest, and a quick journey to Currier Brook is without doubt a delightful idea.
There's fine hiking along the Owls Head Trail, and at Wolcott Dam right next door to Lamoille River Reservoir there are some interesting things to see. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more fun stuff to do here
at Lamoille River Reservoir. Lamoille River Reservoir is a great place to visit for more than one day, Idle Hours Campground is a great place to camp nearby, and you're in all probability addicted to lakes, Wapanacki Lake is one of
those nearby. All the outdoors cool stuff in the Green Mountains will keep you coming back many times. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Stowe, and don't leave Lamoille River Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Kettle Pond Trail.
