Go to Lamoille River Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. During the long summer days at Lamoille River Reservoir temperatures are frequently in the 80's, and the nighttime is slightly cooler of course, typically in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are typically in the 20's with temperatures at Lamoille River Reservoir dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. During your spree to Lamoille River Reservoir you'll meet some folks from Barre for sure; Stowe is a very popular ski area in close proximity. Go for a hike on the Osmore Pond Hiking Loop, and it's a pleasant idea to have a look at Currier Brook. whitewater of Winooski River; if you need a place to stay Village Motel is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful. The top of Brown Hill is easily seen from Lamoille River Reservoir; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but
if it's for you then, we recommend Lamoille River - Wild Branch. Lamoille River Reservoir is a wet place that gets a large amount of rain; during August this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do in close proximity to Lamoille River Reservoir. Going for a hike on the Owls Head Trail is always a delightful adventure; great water scenery is available at Wolcott Dam next to Lamoille River Reservoir.
