The beauty of Lakota Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. A nice location to stop by near Lakota Lake is The Gulf; what would winter be without some skiing at Twin Farms. Good hiking is available along the Mount Peg Foot and Bridal Trails. There's so much to do here at Lakota Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Silver Lake Family Campground is a tremendous place for that. Man, is there a heap of cool stuff to do in

| | the Green Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, White River offers some brilliant whitewater, and if you came to camp Silver Lake State Park is a good spot to do that. Don't leave Lakota Lake without first going for a hike along the Barnard Trail; if you need a place to stay Woodstock Inn And Resort is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. August is the month that gets the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Lakota Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lakota
Lake; Juggernaut Trail is a wonderful local trail. Through the days of summer at Lakota Lake highs are commonly in the 70's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while Lakota Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's.
