If you are in this part of Vermont make sure to pay a visit to Lakota Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Barnard Trail, and if you need a location to stay The Woodstock Inn & Resort is a good choice. Lakota Lake Dam is worth a visit if you're here, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Suicide Six is rather near. If you came for an overnight stay Silver Lake State Park is a great place to camp; The Gulf is a tremendous location to spend

| | some time. This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. Summertime highs at Lakota Lake usually tend to be in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's while Lakota Lake night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 0's. Man, is there a lot of fun stuff to do close to Lakota Lake. splendid hiking along the Juggernaut Trail. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great globe it would be. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things truly is plentiful here in the Green Mountains. If the weather
is wonderful, you get a nice sight of The Lookout from Lakota Lake; a day on the slopes of Twin Farms is just what you need. Camping is available at Silver Lake Family Campground, and dry warm beds await you at Woodstock Inn And Resort.
If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Green Mountains. White River is a nice whitewater spot close to Lakota Lake, and not far from Lakota Lake you'll find Silver Lake which is a picturesque lake.
Lakota Lake is a quite wet place regularly with a lot of rain; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious site for whitewater paddling in the
vicinity of Lakota Lake is White River, and fine hiking is available along the Mount Peg Foot and Bridal Trails.
