    If you are in this part of Vermont make sure to pay a visit to Lake Rescue. At Lake Rescue throughout the long summer days highs are in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Lake Rescue during the winter commonly descend into the 10's. The slopes of Okemo are so inviting nobody can resist. Lakes are wonderful; Amherst Lake is a lake that's right  
   next door to Lake Rescue. Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. A magnificent location for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Lake Rescue is West River, and Carpenter Point is very near and is a good site to visit.
This lake is so wonderful. No need to travel far to check out out of the ordinary stuff like The Pinnacle, and after a long day outdoors The Pointe at Castle Hill Resort is a great site to
 
               spend a night or two. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Lake Rescue. Get your heart beating on the perfect whitewater of Black River, and you can go for a hike on the Bucklin Trail. Dry Hill is a peak you can distinguish from Lake Rescue, and hey, Gotta ski right? Killington is a nice site to do that.
The high level of rain makes Lake Rescue a reasonably wet site; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. That right there is heaps of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. A tour to Lake Rescue wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Buttermilk Falls; going for a hike on the Barnard Trail is always a splendid adventure. For you golfers we recommend close by Okemo Valley Golf Club, and a great location to camp here at Lake Rescue is Sugarhouse Campground.
This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Lake Rescue. Echo Lake Inn is a splendid place to get some rest, and camping is available at Meadow Brook Campgrounds. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Rescue Dam is worth checking out since you're here; close by you come across the Juggernaut Trail which is a good hiking trail.
You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Green Mountains. Branch Brook is a perfect place to visit.
