There's no way someone can get bored here in the Green Mountains. You must have a look at Carpenter Point when you're here at Lake Rescue, and the vista of charming Dry Hill is nice. A great deal of rain falls at Lake Rescue; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. So many                  amusing things to do in the Green Mountains, not sufficient time. A spree to Buttermilk Falls will fill your soul with great feelings, and glide down the rapids of West River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Branch Brook is a wonderful stream that is worth visiting; Lake Rescue is a good place to visit for more than one day, Meadow Brook Campgrounds is a good place to camp nearby. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Rescue. You're possibly keen on lakes, Amherst Lake is one of those nearby, and a great close by hotel is The Pointe at Castle Hill Resort. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. You can never get enough of the pleasant skiing at Okemo, and a golf course close by is Okemo Valley Golf Club. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Barnard Trail; why not stop at Lake Rescue Dam while you're here. This place, the Green Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Rescue; Juggernaut Trail is a perfect local trail, and get covered with water paddling on Black River.
