Lake Pinneo is right by the Hang Glider Trail, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - White River Junction is a magnificent choice. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. At Lake Pinneo through the months of summer highs are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Lake Pinneo tend to be in the 0's.       Just can't get enough of Lake Pinneo. Hit the slopes at Suicide Six close by; do take a hike on the Slot Trail. Lake Pinneo gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Ascutney is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood, and you can make out Barron Hill from Lake Pinneo. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Lake Pinneo,                  so little time. If you come at the right time of year, Ottauquechee River offers some great whitewater. The scenery at Lake Pinneo Dam near Lake Pinneo is wonderful; why not take a refreshing hike along the Mount Peg Foot and Bridal Trails. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Green Mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Connecticut River; a quick journey to Quechee Gorge is beyond doubt a nice idea. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things truly is bountiful here in the Green Mountains. Lake Pinneo is a pleasant lake close to Lake Pinneo. There's so much to do here at Lake Pinneo that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Valley Resort Campground is a glorious place for that. A wonderful lake like Deweys Pond close to Lake Pinneo is a great location to explore, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn At Quechee Gorge is a great site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.
