Summertime highs at Lake Pinneo typically tend to be in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Lake Pinneo dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Camping is available at K O A Kampgrounds, and on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Mount Peg Foot and Bridal Trails. There is a fine hiking trail close to Lake Pinneo called the Hang

| | Glider Trail, and camping at Pine Valley Resort Campground is always a good experience. So much cool stuff to do here at Lake Pinneo, too fine to be true. If you need a place to stay Quality Inn At Quechee Gorge is a nice choice, and Lake Pinneo Dam is a pretty place, without doubt worth stopping at. Just can't get enough of the Green Mountains. to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Slot Trail is always a good adventure, and there are plenty of folks from Lebanon here. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Green Mountains.
A perfect location for whitewater paddling close to Lake Pinneo is Ottauquechee River; some of the water nearby flows, like Quechee Gorge. This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.
