So many cool things to do in the Green Mountains, not enough time. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Lake Pinneo, and a great close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - White River Junction. This lake
is so wonderful. Lake Pinneo is a tremendous location to visit for more than one day, Pine Valley Resort Campground is a tremendous location to camp nearby. Lakes? Sure, Deweys Pond is in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful.
Good hiking is available along the Hang Glider Trail, and you can stay the night at K O A Kampgrounds. But wait, there's more to do near Lake Pinneo. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Connecticut River. This location, the Green
Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Lake Pinneo Dam has wonderful water scenery and it's in the neighborhood of Lake Pinneo, and if you're here, you could visit Quechee Gorge. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
