Lake Pinneo is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. So many cool things to do at Lake Pinneo, so little time. A nice close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - White River Junction, and a great location to camp here at Lake Pinneo is K O A Kampgrounds. A lake close by is Lower Hurricane Reservoir, and there is a perfect hiking trail close by called the Slot Trail. Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. You can run the rapids of Ottauquechee River close to Lake Pinneo; on a good day you can take a hike along the Hang Glider Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Lake Pinneo is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and why not a little side journey to Quechee Gorge. That right there is a heap of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it
all. You'll meet a lot of folks from Lebanon here, and Suicide Six is a magnificent local ski area.
This lake is so wonderful. Connecticut River is a delightful whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Lake Pinneo, and if you need
a place to stay Quality Inn At Quechee Gorge is a fine choice. Lake Pinneo Dam is beautiful and it's in the neighborhood of Lake Pinneo, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Mount Peg Foot and Bridal Trails.
For the period of the long summer days, highs usually are in the 70's at Lake Pinneo. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lake Pinneo are in the 0's.
