This lake is so wonderful. Have a great hiking adventure along the Bald Mountain Trail, and if you've had enough of Lake Paran, Lake Shaftsbury is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Mount Greylock Ski Club has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff; Lake Paran is glorious       enough to spend more than a day at, Holysmoke Camps is a glorious local campground. A normal amount of rain falls here at Lake Paran; during August this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. While you're here at Lake Paran you can take a hike along the Healing Springs Nature Trail, and you can hit the slopes at Jiminy Peak in the vicinity. A golf course in the neighborhood of Lake Paran is MT Anthony                  Country Club. There's whitewater on Walloomsac River for all you adrenaline kick people, and Lake Paran is not the only place nearby, Lake Paran is a nearby lake. If you go for the outdoors, you'll go for Lake Paran. There's a forest here at Lake Paran called McCullough Woods, and after a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Bennington is a perfect location to spend a night or two. If the weather is great here at Lake Paran, you can go for a hike along the West Ridge Trail; Lake Paran Dam is a beautiful place. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Lake Paran, and the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lake Paran. Looking for some flowing water? Try Cold Spring Brook, and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Roaring Branch. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun.
