Lake Paran is a nice lake to visit. If only every place had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great world it would be. Roaring Branch, and at Lake Paran you always meet someone from Bennington. A magnificent sight of pretty Bingham Hill is available from Lake Paran, and close by you'll discover a wooded region called McCullough Woods. And if that's
not enough, there's plenty more to do near Lake Paran. If you need a place to stay Best Western New Englander Motor Inn is a great choice; after a long day outdoors Alexandra B and B is a great location to spend a night or two.
This lake is so wonderful. Cold Spring Brook is a pleasant local stream, and Lake Paran Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. Skiing at Mount Greylock Ski Club is one of those things you just have to do, and a golf course
nearby is MT Anthony Country Club. For the period of the summer at Lake Paran highs are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while Lake Paran overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's.
