    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Lake Mansfield. Lake Mansfield is a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. The Sawmill Loop Trail is a good hiking trail close to Lake Mansfield, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Lake of the Clouds is just a very short distance away.
Lake Mansfield is a good location of typical rainfall; most of the rain
 
   falls during August while February is frequently the driest month. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Stowe since you're here, and if you've had enough of Lake Mansfield, Goose Pond is close by. You can take a little tour to Lake Mansfield Dam since you're here at Lake Mansfield; Little River is a perfect whitewater spot nearby.
If you go for the outdoors, you'll love Lake Mansfield. Camping is available at Brewster River Campground;
 
               if you came for an overnight stay Gold Brook Campground is a great site to camp. That right there is heaps of cool things already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. Since you're here at Lake Mansfield why not visit Nebraska Notch, and you'll meet a lot of people from Barre here. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Green Mountains. A wonderful site for whitewater paddling near Lake Mansfield is Little River - West Branch, and the panorama of Dewey Mountain is delightful.
This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is splendid here at Lake Mansfield, you can go for a hike along the Haselton Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Stowe Mountain Lodge. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. What would winter be without some skiing at Bolton Valley, and if you need a spot to stay Stowe Inn at The Mountain and Condominiums is a good choice. An afternoon playing golf at West Bolton Golf Club is always a delight, and going for a hike along the Nose Dive Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
Summertime highs at Lake Mansfield generally tend to be in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are frequently in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lake Mansfield are in the 0's.

Jay Peak is well known for its glades and extreme chutes but there's more to the mountain than just expert terrain ? like The Zone, Jay Peak's learning area, which includes 4 lifts that access 11 trails and introductory glades....
Hmm? Jay Peak seems like it has two peaks, shouldn't it be called Jay Peaks? But other than the confusing name I have no complaints. Lots of good runs....
