     Lake Madeleine is a nice lake to visit. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lake Madeleine while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while Lake Madeleine overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Norton Brook is a charming stream that is worth going to; during your spree here you'll meet some people from Bennington for sure. Gotta ski! Bromley is a fine place to do  
   that, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Healing Springs Nature Trail.
Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever wanna go home again. If you need a spot to stay Arcady At The Sunderland Lodge is a magnificent choice, and Corbett Hollow is a perfect location to spend some time. Yeah, come up here to the Green Mountains for a brilliant time. There's always Lake Madeleine Dam to stop by right next door to Lake Madeleine; golf
 
               can be played at Equinox Country Club. That right there is lots already, but it carries on; Lake Madeleine has it all. Lake Madeleine is not the only place close by, Barbos Lake is a close by lake; hiking along the West Ridge Trail is good fun.
Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Battenkill River; if you like swamps you're in luck, Spruce Swamp is right close by. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Green Mountains will keep you coming back many times. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Roaring Branch, and if you get bored of Lake Madeleine you could also have a look at close by Hopper Pond. Manchester View Fine Lodging is a nice location to get some rest; do take a hike on the Lye Brook Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. You get a glorious panorama of Little Equinox from Lake Madeleine, and Lake Madeleine is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Camping on the Batten Kill Campground is a pleasant local campground. And that's not all you can do here at Lake Madeleine. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Snow Valley; a brilliant place to camp here at Lake Madeleine is Howell's Camping Area. This lake is so wonderful.
Lake Madeleine is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains. From a rain point of view Lake Madeleine is a reasonably common place; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
