Mud Pond is a lake close at hand, and a visit to Beaver Meadow rejuvenates the spirit. This lake is so wonderful. Boomhour Branch is a stream that you may stumble upon during your stay, and there's brilliant hiking along the Bayley Hazen Military Road Trail. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Stowe is near Lake Eden, and Golden Eagle Resort is a great site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Lake       Eden is a magnificent site to visit for more than one day, Mountain View Campground is a magnificent site to camp nearby; there's some out of the ordinary stuff to catch a sight of at Lake Eden Dam near Lake Eden. Lake Eden is a wet place that gets a great deal of rain; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Lake Eden is located in the Green Mountains. Lakeview Camping Area is a fine campground nearby; Devils Gap                  is also a great place to look at. High temperatures at Lake Eden during the summer months are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lake Eden. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Green Mountains. Nearby lakes? Sure, Round Pond is in the neighborhood of Lake Eden; there's whitewater on Gihon River for all you adrenaline people. Having a great time at Lake Eden is painless.
